Cuala won their first ever Dublin Senior Football Championship at Parnell Park guided by Mayo man Austin O’ Malley. History made for a club that has known its fair share of success on the hurling fields.
They defeated reigning champions Kilmacud Crokes by 0-14 1-10. Eoin Kennedy popped up with the match-winning score in the fifth minute of injury-time, handing Cuala a narrow but ultimately deserved victory.
