The Game Changers for the DDSL
The SportLoMo technology features that are winners for the DDSL……
Game Management & Electronic Management of players
Managing the sheer volume of games and participants is challenging and resource-intensive, with as many as 2,000 games every weekend. The DDSL needed a robust Competition Management system to handle player registration and approvals, player transfers, discipline, create squads/panels and other paper-based processes.
Sportlomo’s, fixtures Management tool is also utilised to create competitions and generate the schedule for each competition within the league.
Referee Scheduling App
This gets great feedback from referees. Referees can input their availability and preferences into SportLomo, allowing for optimal match assignments based on location and availability. The app is also used to return scores and these scores go directly to the DDSL database / website / scoreboard App.
The Referee Management system is fully integrated with competitions, schedules and venues.
DDSL Scoreboard App
This app (separate to the Game Management app) is used by players, parents and supporters. Users can save their ‘favourite’ club / competitions for easy, quick look up. There are approximately 20,000 downloads which is quite a sizable number considering there are only 45,000 players in the league.
The New DDSL Website
The creation of a new ‘REALTIME’ DDSL Website with up-to-the-minute scores, fixtures, games schedules and league tables (in matrix and form views). This data is auto-published in realtime to the website and scoreboard app (no work for admins).
More Big Winners
Increased Revenues
SPLIT PAY FEATURE IS A GAME CHANGER
SportLoMo’s Split Pay Feature has increased DDSL’s revenues allowing the league to hire additional staff to manage operations and reduce the workload of its volunteers. The increase in revenue stemming from the new SportLoMo registration process has allowed the DDSL to take on 5 more full-time staff.
SportLoMo’s ‘Split Pay’ feature stands out as a game-changer for parents and clubs alike. It simplifies the registration and payment process by consolidating club fees and DDSL fee/player insurance into a single transaction ensuring that DDSL registration fees are collected upfront, guaranteeing that all players are promptly paid up and possess comprehensive insurance coverage.
Increased Membership Numbers
For the coming 2024-2025 season, the DDSL expect to grow registered members numbers by up to 20% to substantially more than 50,000 players.
“SportLoMo saves Clubs 1 hour per registration per player. Up to 500 hours work for a club with 500 players”
